This impressive Trifari brooch can fool you. At first sight, it resembles a large gold-tone strawberry. But, according to a 1962 Trifari advertisement it is actually supposed to be an acorn. The ad also states that the brooch is made of gold-tone Trifarium. This brooch features richly textured overlapping petal-like structures. The stem and leaves are polished gold-tone. The brooch is marked Crown TRIFARI© and lies at an angle when worn. It measures approximately 1¾”  x  1¾” and is in excellent vintage condition.
